Purpose Endeavour
To provide affordable, adequate, compassionate and total care for 45 mentally and physically disabled
persons irrespective of color, religious belief or race.
Twenty percent of boarders are well-fare cases who cannot afford anything.
Casa Caritas is a Non-Profit organization with strict financial disciplines subject to annual audit by
certified accountants.
Management
1. Monthly management accounts compared with detailed budget.
2. Management Board of chairman and four members - all voluntary and long serving; and the
Chief Executive Officer which is a full-time appointment.
Our sources of income:
Over half our income comes from kind individuals who really care and believe in what we are doing. We have also had wonderful support from Schools, Churches and Companies.
1 = 49% Received from donations
2 = 33% Received from subsidies
3 = 15% Received from residents fees
4 = 3% Other income
How your money is spent:
Because our aims are so tightly focused, we are able to keep overhead costs to a minimum.
Our costs are made up as illustrated below :
1 = 73% Salaries and Wages
2 = 14% Maintenance and running costs
3 = 8% Feeding costs
4 = 5% Fund raising costs
